We have been full-time glampers for the past two and a half weeks. After closing on the house, our friends were kind enough to let us crash their basement for two weeks while we get everything ready for the glamp life. (Shout out to the Whitehouses!!) What is the glamp life? Well, like I have been saying for a while now, we are downsizing, not downgrading. This ‘camper’ is quite the living quarters. This place has nicer finishes than our old house. Wikipedia (I know, not a super credible source, but it works for this) describes glamping here:
Glamping is a portmanteau of glamour and camping and describes a style of camping with amenities and, in some cases, resort-style services not usually associated with “traditional” camping.
We have had a lot of people ask, so here are the photos of our new glamper! Excuse the phone pics, being a small space, I had to use my wide-angle phone app to get it to show off everything. I just have to keep reminding myself that this blog isn’t about the photography, it’s about our glamp life. Well, here they are:
